ADDITIONAL COVER FOR ACCIDENTS, TRAUMATIC INJURIES AND HOSPITALISATION – 4 THINGS YOU SHOULD READ

According to NHS data shared earlier in January, during 2020/21 thousands of people have required hospital treatment as a result of accidents and injuries. Whilst some of these sound almost comical, including elderly people hospitalised after falling from playground equipment, the data does serve to highlight that many of us face the risk of injury on a daily basis. Protection insurance such as income protection and critical illness are typically thought of as providing cover for serious, in some cases life-changing illness. HOW INCOME PROTECTION PROVIDERS HELP WITH A HOSPITAL STAY

This extra financial support could be essential in protecting the client and covering any costs before their core benefit kicks in. In this insight we looked at hospitalisation benefit in more detail, who offers it and how they compare. Read more
