CII briefing: EU referendum result

A briefing summarising what the EU referendum result means for CII members.

On 23 June, the UK voted to leave the European Union (EU). This has significant implications for the UK - not least combining a change in the country's constitution, and following David Cameron's decision to step down as leader of the Conservative Party, a new Prime Minister, and with many issues uncertain for the months ahead. In Scotland, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed a second referendum on independence was now "highly likely".
