The Personal Finance Society presents – Financial Wellbeing
A collaboration with ITN Productions Industry News
The Personal Finance Society and ITN Productions Industry News are co-producing an online news-style programme Financial Wellbeing.
The UK has seen a dramatic fall in its savings ratio in recent years placing increasing responsibility on the financial planning profession to empower consumers to take command of their own financial future.
Anchored by ITN Productions Industry News presenter Natasha Kaplinsky, Financial Wellbeing aims to engender public confidence and trust in the personal finance profession, to explore the key challenges and opportunities consumers face today and showcase how the profession has developed to meet the increasingly complex needs of the modern consumers.
Improving financial futures
The programme invites experts in the field of financial planning from around the UK to share examples of advice, best practice and initiatives that equip consumers with the knowledge they need to improve their financial future.
The programme will focus on key areas of consumer confusion including how to get the right suitable financial advice, retirement income options and how to recognise a scam. Financial Wellbeing will also explore the financial education services and guidance offered to engage with individuals who are unable to afford or access professional financial advice.
Launching in November 2020 at the Personal Finance Society’s specialist Investment Events, the programme will form part of an extensive communications campaign featuring PFS members and professional partners, as well as journalists, writers, bloggers and relevant government departments.
