RDR Action Week, 26 – 30 October 2009

The Personal Finance Society, in association with Friends Provident, held a series of live interactive web-based, Q&A panel sessions focused on providing you with practical help to formalise your action plans and be ready for the 2012 deadline. Money Marketing supported RDR Action Week.

We know that many of you still have questions that remain unanswered about the best way to achieve the requirements of RDR, and it is now time to start making concrete plans to ensure you survive and flourish post 2012. RDR Action Week gave you the opportunity to ask our panels of experts specific questions on the practical issues and to clarify areas of uncertainty.

RDR Action Week also supplied new recordings of Fay Goddard on "Getting Diploma Qualified" and Paul Lothian on "Becoming Chartered".

As much as the RDR being implemented is causing many of us extra effort it is important to focus on how the outcome will enhance the reputation of our profession. It is also important to take action now rather live in hope that it will all disappear.
