RSS feeds
What is RSS?
RSS (Real Simple Syndication) lets you receive updates to a website for latest news and articles in short form so that you can link through to the resulting page for a detailed version of the news item.
How do I start using feeds?
The first thing you need is something called an ‘RSS reader’. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.
Browser based reader:
A Majority of latest browsers would allow you to click an RSS feed link and view its content directly, you can subscribe to a feed by clicking the ‘subscribe to this feed’ link on top of page.
