Applications for qualified membership are subject to a one-off £46 election fee. The one-off application fee for Chartered Status is £140. Existing members of the CII need only pay the £46 election fee at the outset and the appropriate updated annual subscription will be made at the next renewal period.
Membership will expire 12 months from the end of the month in which you apply – e.g. if you join on 15th January 2008, your membership will expire on 31st January 2009.
An additional fee of £3 is applicable if you wish to join the Insurance Institute of London.
Members of the Personal Finance Society automatically receive CII membership.
