Membership levels
Full Membership
Available to those who meet the necessary academic and personal qualifications established by the Society's Board.
This entitles members to vote on resolutions and depending on qualifications, become eligible to become a member of the Board. Full Membership has four designation levels - Certificate, Diploma, Associate and Fellow - awarded at progressive levels of achievement through the Certificate in Financial Planning (and its predecessor the Financial Planning Certificate), the Diploma in Financial Planning and the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
Student Membership
For those who are entering the financial advice sector and are embarking on their first qualifications, but have not yet attained the Certificate in Financial Planning (or its predecessor the Financial Planning Certificate).
The Personal Finance Society believes that those who commit themselves to ongoing technical training and development, should receive recognition. Membership of the Society offers you that recognition through our membership designations (based on qualifications provided by the CII and other recognised examining bodies).
Chartered Financial Planner The title Chartered Financial Planner is available to eligible members who are carrying on business as providers of financial planning advice, or related activities, to individuals or corporate entities. The title shows the world that you have attained and maintain the highest and most prestigious level of professional achievement. |
