Financial Planning Practitioner Panel new members

Three fresh faces are joining the Personal Finance Society’s Financial Planning Practitioner Panel to share best practice with the professional body’s membership.

This year’s new panellists are Natalie Wright, Chartered Financial Planner and director of Mazars Financial Planning Ltd, Ricky Chan, director and Chartered Financial Planner of IFS Wealth & Pensions Ltd, and Tamsin Caine, head of financial planning at Smart Financial Planning.

Sharon Sutton, former president of the Personal Finance Society and chair of the panel, said: “All panel members are passionate about the power financial planning has to genuinely change people’s lives.

“We are very pleased to see three young, but accomplished, practitioners add their experience and vision to help develop content that will support fellow professionals improve the outcomes for their clients.”

Examples of content produced by the panel in the last 12 months include good practice guides to client experience, client acquisition and engagement plus Power Workshops aimed at helping practitioners with first client meetings.

Panel members serve for three years with up to four members retiring from the panel every year.

Keith Richards, CEO of the Personal Finance Society, said: “We are extremely grateful to our members for volunteering their valuable time and expertise for the benefit of others.”
