Justin Urquhart–Stewart – Regionally
Justin Urquhart-Stewart, the co-founder of 7IM and as the Head of Corporate Development, ensured the principle of doing the right thing is as powerful today as it was at the outset. Currently, Justin acts as Chairman to Regionally, a company recently co-founded by himself and Jim Odell. Regionally aims to act as the missing element of the plumbing, in connecting UK regional scale-up SME’s with nationwide and global investors. As an enthusiast of financial education and service, he is a champion of providing clients the very best, clearly expressed.

Ben Fogle  Award-winning broadcaster and adventurer
A former Reservist in the Royal Navy, Ben first appeared on the BBC’s Castaway, in which he was marooned on an island in the Outer Hebrides for a year.

Ben has since presented numerous programmes including Animal Park, Countryfile, Wild in Africa, Wild on the West Coast, Crufts, One Man and His Dog, Country Tracks, Extreme Dreams, A Year of Adventures, Storm City, Harbour Lives, Countrywise and Fisherman’s Lives, New Lives in the Wild.

Maria Municchi – Fund Manager, M&G Investments
Maria Municchi is fund manager on several of M&G’s Multi Asset Sustainable Investment strategies. Maria has been part of the Multi Asset fund management team since January 2017, having initially joined M&G in 2009 as an investment specialist to the Multi Asset and Convertibles teams. Before M&G, Maria worked at Barings and UBS Asset Management. She has an MSc in international management and finance, is a CFA charter holder, and has successfully completed the University of Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership programme in Business Sustainability Management.

Sarah Lord, PFS President

Sarah Lord FPFS – President, Personal Finance Society
Sarah has 20 years’ experience in the profession and has held a variety of roles; Most recently being appointed Chief Growth Officer at Cooper Parry Wealth.  Previous to this, Sarah was Chief Client Officer for Succession Wealth where she was the Executive Team member responsible for the client experience, proposition and brand, as well as chairing the Investment Committee. During her time at Succession, Sarah also established and chaired the Succession Wealth NextGen Steering Group to ensure the “NextGen” had the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the business.
Fiona Hanrahan

Fiona Hanrahan, Pensions Development and Technical manager  Royal London
Fiona has worked in financial services since leaving the University of St Andrews in 1998.  She has worked mainly in technical roles although has also worked as a Chartered Financial Planner.  She has worked for Royal London since 2015.  Fiona is involved in developing adviser facing content, presenting, writing articles and commenting for the press.

Fiona is a fellow of the Personal Finance Society and has an MBA from the Open University.  She is also the current president of the Insurance Society of Edinburgh. 

Fiona has young twins who take up most of her spare time although she likes visiting new cities, going to the cinema and keeping fit.

Graham Duffy, Care Specialist  JUST
Graham shares his knowledge of the retirement and later life markets with intermediaries through the delivery of business development presentations and workshops, both face to face and online!

He has over 42 years’ experience in financial services, working in the Lloyds reinsurance market for 24 years and then becoming an instrumental part of the new Long Term Care division at Partnership. He is committed to developing all aspects of care fees planning.

 

Claire Trott, Director of Technical Connection Ltd and Divisional Director – Retirement & Holistic Planning at St. James’s Place.  

Claire is Divisional Director of Retirement & Holistic Planning.  Having joined St James’s Place in 2016, Claire came with extensive experience gained in her 20 year career within the pensions industry.

Claire’s in-depth knowledge is diverse and wide ranging and has been born from a combination of having previously worked herself as a Financial Adviser dealing with pension transfers, to now helping advisers deal with the complexities of SIPPs and SSAS in a post simplification environment.

In Claire’s capacity as Divisional Director at St James’s Place, she continues to build on her ability to communicate with various audiences using a wide array of media and is a regular key spokesperson for the business.

As well as an SJP Divisional Director, Claire is also the Chair of the SIPP and SSAS trade body, the Association of Member-directed Pension Schemes (AMPS).

  Julie Littlechild, Absolute Engagement
Julie has worked with and studied successful financial advisers and their clients for more than twenty years and conducts one of the largest investor research studies to examine what clients need, want and expect. She is the author of a popular blog, the co-host of the Becoming Referable podcast, and the author of The Pursuit of Absolute Engagement.

Julie sat on the national board of the Financial Planning Association, was twice identified as one of the 25 Most Influential People in Financial Planning and won the Influencer Award in practice management. She works in the US, Canada, UK and Europe and holds an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Tony Wickenden, Technical Connection

Tony is the founder and MD of Technical Connection.

He has been in the business for nearly 50 years  years and has written the  Tax Planning column in Money Marketing for over 35 of them.

Tony is a Bachelor of Laws, a chartered insurer, a trusts and estate practitioner and a fellow of the institute of taxation.
