About apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are funded programmes of learning which are delivered in the workplace in the UK.  Anyone over the age of 16 who does not hold a degree can enrol as an Apprentice. They are available in many sectors, including insurance and financial services. They play a key part in addressing the skills gaps and shortages that exist in the wider financial services sector and beyond.

The programmes provide a foundation in insurance and financial services for new entrants, as well as offering professional qualifications for those with sector experience but no formalised learning.

Find out more about CII apprenticeships via the links on the right.
