Membership support scheme
All members who are experiencing a significant change in their circumstances during their career are entitled to apply for the Membership support scheme offered by the Society.
Applications will be considered from members that are planning on working part-time, are going on a career break or maternity leave, are unemployed, have been made redundant, are experiencing long term ill health or have special circumstances that they feel should be considered.
Members in any of these situations are entitled to apply for one of the following support scheme options.
Option 1
This option will mean members pay half the membership fee for their class; all the benefits of full Personal Finance Society membership will be retained. This fee is payable at the normal renewal date.
Option 2
This option will mean members voluntarily resign their membership; members choosing this option can apply for re-admission to membership within 2 years and the re-admission fee will be waived.
Members applying for the support scheme are required to send in a new application form for every year they wish to be considered for the scheme.
