Storming start for findanadviser.org in 2010

A significant promotional campaign for our consumer facing adviser search website www.findanadviser.org launched on 6th January 2010 and will run until mid-February. The campaign is aimed at raising awareness of the site and motivating consumers to search for their local, trusted, financial adviser.

Spend

The campaign’s media spend has been weighted to online banner advertisements, supported by national press adverts. Search engine marketing will ensure that keywords support related and associated searches and the continuing search engine optimisation project will help the site maintain high search engine rankings in natural advisory and finance related searches.

Theme

The visuals for the online banner advertising are centred on the current climate of financial unrest. A storm breaks with findanadviser orange lightening striking to grab the attention of website visitors. The copy encourages viewers to start planning for a ‘brighter’ financial future by seeking the advice of their local financial adviser – click here to view one of the banner ads. The press adverts have visual synergy with the online banners, but with copy focused on encouraging visits to the findanadviser website to perform a postcode search.

Media

A variety of banner adverts will seek to deliver in excess of 13 million page impressions on a diverse range of websites such as:

  • Yahoo Finance
  • Yahoo News
  • MSN Hotmail
  • Daily Mail
  • Telegraph
  • Moneysupermarket
  • Sky News

The press adverts will be mainly two column strip adverts focused in the money sections of national press, including:

  • Daily Mail
  • Mail on Sunday
  • The Times
  • Daily Telegraph
  • Sunday Telegraph
  • Daily Express
  • Sunday Express
