Society of Mortgage Professionals proposes solution to ‘holistic’ debate »
Whilst lamenting the fact it was not addressed in the Mortgage
Market Review (MMR), the Society of Mortgage Professionals is
confident that the regulator's proposal for consumers to receive
'holistic expertise' can still be achieved, but only through a
combination of qualifications, on-going CPD and the ability to
refer to an appropriate adviser.

Society of Mortgage Professionals has confirmed the appointment of
Vishal Pandya as its new operations manager.
Pandya, who has seven years' mortgage and protection experience
with HSBC and Lloyds, will support head of professional
development, Lee Travis, as the professional body continues to grow
its membership, raise its profile with advisers and consumers and
drive for higher standards.

Employers have a legal responsibility to comply with their
automatic enrolment duties. If your clients receive a letter from
The Pensions Regulator, then they should not ignore it. Encourage

their plans early and avoid the risk of a £400 fine.
